Licensed Electricians

AES Engineering and Contracting Ltd. (trading as AES Solar) is seeking licensed Electricians to undertake electrical work including, but not limited to, residential and commercial electrical wiring, installation, commissioning and management of residential and commercial PV solar systems, and battery energy storage systems.

Requirements

Level 3 Building Technician (electrical) or equivalent Current working knowledge of the Bermuda electrical code Enphase Energy System 3.0 Installer certification training featuring the IQ Battery SP Experience installing photovoltaic (pv) solar systems and battery energy storage systems is preferred Reliability and effective Time Keeping Skills are a necessity In addition, applicants must: have a demonstrated commitment to maintaining high professional standards and quality workmanship, have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effective- ly with clients and colleagues, be willing and able to lift up to 100lbs and work efficiently on rooftops and at high heights, observing health and safety requirements at all times, hold or be capable of obtaining a Bermuda driver's license and, if selected, be willing to obtain a truck license (L license and Intermediate truck license) to operate company vehicles to travel to job sites, be willing and able to work on weekends and public holidays as needed in response to emergencies.
