The Building Maintenance Worker will report to the General Manager - Real Estate & Facilities and work closely with the EGL Facilities Manager. The Building Maintenance Worker will be responsible for the general maintenance of properties managed by Gibbons Management Services Limited. Responsibilities include: Perform painting, masonry, and carpentry tasks according to project requirements for commercial and residential properties; Maintain all carpentry equipment; Provide support to the GMSL electrician; Maintain a clean, organized and hazard free workshop environment; Oversesee and manage facilities operations at Duerdon, The Bermuda Coal Co and The Coigne/Corner Shop; Respond to emergency callouts and alarms; Perform basic plumbing repairs; Prioritize and manage regular maintenance jobs vs urgent emergency tasks; Collaborate with other team members to coordinate projects and complete projects on time.
Requirements
Painting, masonry, and carpentry skills; ability to perform basic plumbing repairs; support electricians with wiring and lighting; facilities operations management.
