Crisson Construction Ltd. is seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to lead our core activities. This role oversees team leadership, project execution, ensures a safe work environment, and delivers on-time results within budget. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in marine and heavy civil construction with a proven ability to manage complex projects from start to finish. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring sound judgment, clear communication, and the ability to coordinate field operations, engineering, and client expectations. Key Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations including labor, equipment and materials; leading project managers, engineers, field crews and office support staff; producing estimates, managing budgets, schedules and contracts; ensuring compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements; monitoring project progress; and coordinating with clients and consultants.
Requirements
7+ years experience in marine, heavy civil, or infrastructure construction. Strong leadership and project management background. Familiarity with design codes, construction processes and means & methods. Experience with heavy civil construction projects such as but not limited to marinas, bridges, residential and commercial docks. Working knowledge of contracts, inspections, and construction regulations. Proficient at critical thinking and problem solving. Proven ability to manage project budgets and schedules. The ability to drive boats and move barges is an asset. Professional engineering designation required.
