The basic function of the Equipment Service Technician is to drive to job sites and fuel all company trucks and heavy equipment. This person will also be responsible for checking fuel, fluid levels, (fuel, grease and oil) and performing preventive maintenance on all heavy equipment. Duties include lubricating moving parts, injecting grease, inspecting fluid levels, checking tire pressure, replacing tires, adding radiator/battery water, logging daily activities, and performing quality service on heavy equipment.
Requirements
3 years' experience in a similar role with knowledge of heavy equipment. Experience in heavy equipment maintenance including diesel mechanics, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and general repair. Ability to perform visual inspections and heavy lifting. Must be able to climb heavy equipment. Valid Heavy Truck driver's license required. Must comply with safety and environmental requirements. Subject to drug screening.
