Live-out Child Caregiver/housekeeper

Our client, Mr. and Mrs. T. McKevitt, are seeking a Live-Out Child Care Giver/Housekeeper. This position requires an experienced, reliable, trustworthy Child Caregiver/Housekeeper to undertake the care of a busy household with two children aged 11 and 8. The care of the children is the priority. The successful applicant will be required to perform all aspects of childcare and all aspects of housekeeping duties, including heavy cleaning, windows, outdoor living space, laundry and ironing. Other duties include the care of one elderly family member along with the care of two dogs, and meal preparations. When employers travel, the role may require care of family, animals, and being 'live-in'. Must be flexible, responsible and loyal. The successful applicant will hold a valid CPR & First Aid certificate, be a non-smoker, and a strong swimmer. Also, must be willing to work holidays, evenings, and weekends at little or no notice if needed. Candidates must either have their own a car or possess an assessment number for vehicle registration, as regular travel for school pick-ups, appointments, and household errands are required. Preference will be given to applicants with the ability to speak Cantonese, have a caregiver's certificate and/or nursing qualification.
