Housekeeper/cook

Job Type: Permanent

We are seeking an energetic and responsible individual with at least two years proven experience in the management of all cleaning aspects of private households, in addition to meal preparation. The applicant must have superior cleaning skills and be willing to carry out heavy and light cleaning duties. Housekeeping responsibilities will include thorough cleaning (including windows), laundry, pet care, ironing and repair linens where necessary, and other such associated duties to ensure a clean home environment. Must have good knowledge of cooking and the ability to Live-in on occasion based on client requests and provide childcare services when required. Applicant must love animals as household duties may also include care and feeding of animals to include cats and large breed dogs, and smaller indoor animals. Care and feeding of animals include: dog baths, fish tank cleaning; yard cleaning after walking dogs and kitty litter maintenance. The successful candidate should be willing to work on public holidays, evenings, nights, and weekends, including working early mornings when needed. As this is a position of trust, a police clearance certificate is required. Must be a non-smoker.
