We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Primary Years Teacher who thrives in a flexible, student-centered learning environment. This role is ideal for an educator who embraces a generalist approach, confidently teaching across subject areas while designing engaging, interactive lessons that reflect best teaching practices and personalized learning. The successful candidate will have experience working with both small groups and whole-class instruction, and a strong understanding of using diagnostic profiles to inform teaching and develop personalized learning pathways. Responsibilities include designing interactive lessons, differentiating instruction for diverse learning needs, implementing multi-sensory strategies, and fostering a supportive classroom environment.
Requirements
Teaching qualifications (B.Ed., PGCE, QTS) from an internationally accredited college or university. Minimum of 12 weeks of student teaching. Minimum of three years of experience lead teaching students with learning differences. Experience teaching English using a phonics-based approach. Licensed with the Bermuda Educator's Council or meets requirements. SCARS and CPR/First Aid certified.
