BAC Group is looking to employ a qualified Sprinkler Fitter Superintendent for several commercial and/or industrial projects. The successful applicant must supervise the install and repair of wet systems, pipelines, valves, fire sprinklers, dry risers etc. throughout specific job sites. Must be able to repair and maintain fire pumps and related equipment and be capable of making field modifications to previously engineered systems in compliance with various N.F.P.A standards. Responsibilities include laying out full-scale drawings, managing job site documentation, selecting pipe sizes, inspecting installed systems, and coordinating daily work schedules of assigned employees.
Requirements
Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Valid sprinkler fitter certification to North American standards is required. Knowledgeable of NFPA 12, 13, 14, 20 and 2001 rules. 7-10 years documented recent installation of Fire Sprinkler Systems. Must be physically fit to perform the work of the trade (climb ladders, maneuver in tight spaces). Must be able to lift a minimum of 80 lbs. Must have a valid driver's license.
