Financial Controller

We seek an experienced FINANCIAL CONTROLLER for our small yet well established and growing local service company. Reporting to the President, this senior position is ideal for a highly skilled accounting professional to oversee the full accounting cycle, ensure compliance to international standards, and drive operational efficiencies throughout the organization. Key Responsibilities Oversee and perform all financial operations, including AR, AP, general ledger, payroll, banking, and statutory filings Daily management of service order tickets, liaise with technicians on open orders, close order tickets, convert to billings as needed. Daily import of SME dispatch system to accounting system for daily time review, assess time reports for job costing and invoicing purposes Carry out payroll operations to pay employees and payroll liabilities Record vendor invoices, reconcile to statements, and make payments as needed Prepare and present quarterly & annual financial reports and analysis Carry out inventory accounting, capital expenses, and purchases Liaise with oversees vendors and shippers to ensure a smooth flow of orders for customers and stock, including preparing documents for Customs and shippers Safeguard the organization's integrity by ensuring legal and regulatory compliance Assist our external IT service provider in the deployment of hardware and communications systems used by all staff Maintain accurate and timely records of all transactions, including those for all government agencies and insurance companies Assist management colleagues in the preparation of Sales, Service, Vendor and HR contracts as required Implement and maintain strong internal controls and sound accounting policies Perform other duties as required to support the overall operations of the company

Requirements

CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent professional designation Minimum 5-Years demonstrated experience in senior finance role, with job costing for projects spanning multiple reporting periods Professional working proficiency of QuickBooks Pro accounting software, and Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel) Exceptional communication, leadership, analytical and organizational skills High level of integrity, professional judgement and discretion This is a hands-on, detail-oriented and collaborative working environment
