Operations Services Manager

Key Responsibilities: Assist the Operations Manager in planning, executing and monitoring annual operating plans Responsible for inventory levels, warehouse efficiency and stores operations Assist the Operations Manager in maintaining gross profit ratíos in line with budget and identify cost-reduction opportunities Assist the Operations and Service Managers to lead, motivate and support staff across Operations, Warehouse and Stores to ensure performance and productivity Develop staff through training, performance reviews and career development planning Identify and recommend operational improvements across departments Assist with implementing new inventory management and procurement systems Provide oversight to the Warehouse Supervisor, Head Storeman and team to ensure accurate and timely processing of shipments, transfers, returns and special orders Maintain accountability for departmental compliance with corporate policies and standard operating procedures Assist with the management of service projects, including major repairs or component replacements, ensuring timely coordination and resource support Maintain, use and enforce safe working practices across departments Maintain accountability for site and staff adherence to Health, Safety and Environmental policies Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety provisions according to the Health and Safety Work Act 1982 Key Qualifications/Abilities: High School Diploma, post-secondary education in business administration, supply chain management or logistics preferred Management or supervisory training and/or certification, e.g. ILM, CMI or equivalent Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in HVAC operations roles, warehousing and logistics, including a minimum of five (5) years in a supervisory or management capacity Demonstrate success leading operations, including but not limited to, staff supervision, process improvements and achieving performance targets Valid Bermuda Driver's License required or ability to obtain license Strong understanding of warehouse, procurement and operational best safety practices Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office software and other programmes associated with the position
