Top Grade Journeyman Plumber

BAC Group is seeking to employ a Top Grade Journeyman Plumber. The successful candidate must have previous experience installing to a high-quality commercial, industrial, and hospitality standard. Applicant must be able to read drawings, perform equipment take offs and material take offs and have knowledge and experience fabricating and installing pipe, and equipment support systems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Applicant with medical gas installation, brazing and welding certificates would be preferred Must have experience working on copper, steel, cast, wrought iron, brass, fiberglass piping, plastic both push joint tubing and solvent, both grooved, threaded, or welded piping systems and boilers Knowledge of the theory, installation and the practical application of steam and condensate systems, chilled and condenser water systems, water feeders and controllers Hydronic piping experience and understanding of venting requirements Sewage pumping station installation and extensive maintenance experience Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Experience: Must have valid Journeyman Plumber certification Minimum 3 years working in/around hospitality, industrial and commercial sites Advanced technical skills and experience related to piping installations and service Advanced mechanical aptitude Experience working with/on HVAC control systems would be an asset Must be able to delegate work and be able to monitor employee productivity and performance as well as provide constructive feedback and coaching to apprentices Valid driver's license The Company offers a remuneration package and comprehensive staff benefits commensurate with qualifications and experience for the position.
