Stores Manager

The Stores Manager will be responsible for efficient warehouse management and ensuring control of all incoming and outgoing inventory. This includes overseeing the receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory control of HVAC materials, tools and equipment. This role ensures the timely availability of stock for projects and maintenance, maintains accurate records, implements best practices in storekeeping, and supports operational efficiency. With 7 years of experience, the Stores Manager brings expertise in inventory management, vendor coordination, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Requirements

Minimum 7 years of experience in stores/warehouse management, preferably in the HVAC or construction industry. High school diploma or equivalent (minimum requirement). Diploma/Certificate in HVAC Mechanical Engineering, or Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (preferred but not essential). Additional qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Project Management are considered an advantage. Strong knowledge of HVAC spare parts, consumables, and equipment. Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office (Excel, Word). Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills. Strong analytical ability for stock management and reporting. Knowledge of safety procedures, material handling, and quality control standards.
