Key Responsibilities: Ensure the team maintains excellent customer relations and delivers world class service Responsible for team's response to trouble calls and providing assistance as needed Improve personal and team performance continually, inclusive of looking for ways to improve processes and customer service along with suggesting training programmes or other opportunities for improvement to management as they apply Manage a team of technicians and trainees, inclusive of training them in the application of troubleshooting skills, HVAC/R knowledge, related operational controls, programming and Occupational Health and Safety requirements Instruct employees on proper use of materials, systems, quality workmanship and provide accurate and timely documentation of tasks Responsible for all incoming OHSE concerns Carry out site inspections for safety, quality assurance and workmanship Assist with scheduling employees, setting work priorities, counselling employees, evaluating performance and directing work assignments to ensure effective production and to maximise profits Responsible for accurately completing and turning in all reports and inspection sheets in a timely manner Responds to opportunities by identifying needs, helping with generating quotes and closing orders Maintain regular correspondence with Operations Coordinator and other managers Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action and communicating with customers and staff as needed Communicate customer perceptions by gathering customer feedback and sharing information with other managers Work closely with other parts of the business and assist the sales team as needed Dress appropriately to represent a professional service Maintain any assigned company vehicle cleanliness, tools and safety equipment Assist with the acquisition of pull through work and notify the appropriate sales team members of opportunities Modify instructions to promote understanding in all levels of the organisation Recognise what has to be taught to customers for them to handle emergencies and know when to call for service, then take the required time to do so Participate in the rotation of duty manager Key Qualifications/Abilities: Minimum of 10 years of related experience in HVAC/R Minimum of 10 years of supervisory experience required HND/City and Guilds or equivalent HVAC qualifications Factory trained on centrifugal chiller systems Proficiency with MS Office software Possess valid Bermuda Driver's License Strong customer service and organisational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail Always demonstrate a positive attitude Willing to learn and provide training to staff Ability to work closely as a team member and liaise with other parts of the organisation Competent understanding of systems for both project and maintenance agreements Demonstrate and promote a spirit of teamwork throughout the Company Must be flexible to the demands of the business, working during evenings and weekends as required
Requirements
Minimum of 10 years of related experience in HVAC/R, Minimum of 10 years of supervisory experience required, HND/City and Guilds or equivalent HVAC qualifications, Factory trained on centrifugal chiller systems, Proficiency with MS Office software, Possess valid Bermuda Driver's License, Strong customer service and organisational skills, Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail, Always demonstrate a positive attitude, Willing to learn and provide training to staff, Ability to work closely as a team member and liaise with other parts of the organisation, Competent understanding of systems for both project and maintenance agreements, Demonstrate and promote a spirit of teamwork throughout the Company, Must be flexible to the demands of the business, working during evenings and weekends as required.
