On behalf of our client, ACS Limited, we are seeking a Qualified Electrician and a Certified Electrician. The Qualified Electrician applicant must have at least 10 years of work experience in residential and commercial service, installations and have experience in fire alarm systems. Must hold an Associate's Degree in Electrical Technology or equivalent from an accredited institution. The Certified Electrician applicant must have at least 5 years of work experience in residential and commercial service, installations and have experience in fire alarm systems. Must hold a certification in Electrical Technology or equivalent from an accredited institution. Commercial and residential experience, using all aspects of specialty tools, possess a thorough knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in the electrical trade. The successful applicant will be expected to maintain professional safety and high standards on every project. Must be able to meet project deadlines for our customers. Must be able to read, and execute from plans and blueprints. The position requires working long hours including weekends and public holidays. Applicants must be able to troubleshoot and diagnose problems, be self-starters, motivated, work with minimal supervision and be reliable. Will be required to have valid driver's license or willing to obtain and must have own hand tools. The successful applicant will be available to work split shifts, weekends and to be on-call evenings when required. The successful applicant must possess a proven record of good integrity and excellent past employment references.
