Tom Moore’s Tavern is seeking a Sommelier / Assistant Manager. The role involves restaurant service, training and managing staff, and liaising with the Manager and Executive Chef in group and menu planning. Responsibilities include wine cellar maintenance and cost control procedures. The position involves shift work six days per week including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.

Requirements

Must have at least 4 years’ experience in F&B positions in first-class restaurants. Ideally a qualified sommelier. Extensive knowledge of wines and beverages, cost control procedures, and wine cellar maintenance is essential.
