FoodHub Bermuda seeks a business-focused, multi-concept operations leader to oversee island wide restaurant brands and services. You'll drive efficiency, quality, and scalability while ensuring our operations meet high standards of performance and culture. This role requires exceptional people management skills and the ability to adapt to Bermuda's cultural and regulatory environment. The COO will lead the development of systems, teams, and processes that support sustainable growth, while also fostering innovation and excellence across all aspects of operations. Key Responsibilities include but not limited to Oversee daily operations across all brands, service models, and locations, ensuring service excellence. Lead and develop cross-functional operational teams. Manage recruitment, training, and evaluation of personnel. Maintain and enforce SOPs and compliance. Oversee asset management and inventory. Prepare operational budgets and P&L reporting. Monitor and optimize KPIs (service, safety, quality, efficiency). Improve performance at under-performing locations. Collaborate on strategic planning with leadership. Assist with menu design and development. Deploy new systems, tools, and technologies. Scale operational systems organization- wide. Any other duties as directed in support of the company's leadership objectives. Qualifications & Skills - 3+ years multi-unit operations leadership. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Culinary Arts or qualified by experience. Strong financial acumen and budgeting skills. Excellent leadership and cross-cultural management capabilities. Familiarity with multi-location/hospitality environments. Hands-on tech/system implementation experience. We are seeking a creative and innovative Corporate Chef to lead the culinary operations of all quick service, casual and dining brands for Thomas United Company Limited. The incumbent will assume complete responsibility for kitchen operations with multiple cuisines, multiple concepts, and multiple location kitchen operations. Initiatives and activities that the Corporate Chef will actively be involved in include: • Hands on responsibility for all kitchen operations including equipment, staffing and menus. • Responsibility for development, implementation and continuity of Quality assurance programs • P&L responsibility for producing results through revenue generation plus the efficient management of inventory, labor and general costs. Developing menus and supporting the growth of the Dining Room, Al Fresceo, and Catering Departments. Successful applicants should have excellent communication skills, strong people management skills, and experience working with a multi-cultural workforce. A Degree/Diploma in Hotel, Restaurant, or Culinary Management is required with at least 3 years of experience in a similar position. The incumbent should be highly organized and proficient in the use of restaurant related software. Due to the nature of the business, applicants must be prepared to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required The successful applicant will manage casual dining restaurants with a catering business. Demonstrated successful experience managing a "start up" casual dining establishment with catering services is a must. Reporting to the Director of Operations, duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Developing/monitoring budgets and sales goals with a focus on increasing sales and minimizing expenses Responding and resolving customer complaints Meeting and consulting with clients to market and sell TUCL catering services Reviewing production schedules and catering events to meet catering requirements. Coordinating with various persons for coordination, delivery and set-up of events, etc. Reviewing scheduled catering event requests weekly to determine ordering needs Creating special event menus for a variety of clients to establish catering requirements Coordinating and managing inventory with menu forecasts and other catering requirements All HR matters such as scheduling, training, and motivating staff to achieve peak performance Maintaining production records, reports, and department files The selected candidate must have at least three years' experience as a Food and Beverage Manager with proven experience in managing a high volume catering business. "Turn around" experience and marketing experience are definite assets.. This. role requires an energetic, self-motivated individual with exemplary skills in the areas of communication, customer service, and problem solving. Candidates must be able to work under pressure and have the ability to handle multiple priorities. Proficiency in the use of POS systems, the Microsoft Office Suite, and Catering Operations software is a must. The above job requires flexible hours which may include shift work, weekends and holidays. Due to the nature of the business, applicants must be prepared to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
