Director Of Operations

The Director of Operations will be responsible for overseeing the performance management of the Food and Beverage Department, La Serena Spa and the Manager on Duty programme. Manage the administration of the Human Resources policies, procedures, and programmes. Set the example for staff to deliver a standard of service and presentation that meets and exceeds guests' needs and expectations for a four diamond standard. This position requires working weekends and some evenings.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years as a Director of Operations or similar position, preferable at a luxury or 4 diamond hotel. Minimum 3 years' experience as a Director of Food and Beverage or similar position, preferable at a luxury or 4 diamond hotel with 150 employees or 3 years' experience at an Executive level in a luxury hotel including oversight of F&B operations. Proven leadership, motivational, and communication skills. Knowledge of government labor regulations. Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Office, Excel. Knowledge of budget preparation and cost controls. Compute accurate mathematical calculations. Fluency in English both verbal and non-verbal.
