Strategic Risk Solutions (Bermuda) Ltd. ("SRS") is the leading independent insurance management company. Reporting to a Managing Director, the Associate Director - ILS will have responsibility for a robust portfolio of insurance management clients in the ILS sector. Core responsibilities will include the following: • Delivering service excellence to insurance management clients across the ILS sector, including catastrophe bonds, other insurance risk bonds, transformer structures, sidecars and SPIs. • Managing relationships of ILS clients to ensure high satisfaction and retention. • Business development and growth. • Oversight and implementation of effective processes and controls for new ILS clients. • Management and training of professional and administrative ILS staff. • Ensuring that ILS products and services maintain high standards of quality and adhere to applicable regulatory and compliance requirements. This is demanding but fulfilling role that will require the following combination of skills and experience: • An undergraduate degree, preferably in finance, economics, accounting, or a related discipline. • A professional insurance designation. • 15 years' experience in portfolio management within the insurance industry, including a minimum of 10 years' experience managing P&C and Life re/insurance securitizations. • Must have strong demonstrated experience managing catastrophe bonds, sidecars, and other insurance risk structures. • Proficient knowledge of Bermuda insurance regulations and capital requirements. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail. • Experience building and maintaining professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
