Our client, Global Atlantic, is looking for an Associate, Third Party Capital Management. This role supports third-party capital initiatives, operating at the intersection of project management, financial analysis, governance, and stakeholder coordination. The Associate will work closely with teams across Reinsurance, Finance, Actuarial, Risk, and Investments, contributing to both execution and continuous improvement of Institutional processes.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Third-Party Capital & Reinsurance Project Support
• Support end-to-end execution of third-party capital initiatives, including capital calls, debt draws, new vehicle launches, and product activations.
• Assist with the capital call process across Block, Flow, PRT, Retail, and Funding Agreement transactions.
• Support new transaction related initiatives (i.e. operationalizing new product retro), including project management and coordinating inputs across internal stakeholders.
Process Improvement & Strategic Initiatives
• Contribute to management-led projects focused on process standardization, operational efficiency, and reporting enhancements.
• Support ad-hoc strategic initiatives as business needs evolve.
Financial Analysis & Reporting
• Support budgeting and expense analysis for multiple third-party capital vehicles, ensuring accuracy and alignment with internal controls.
Governance, Audit & Stakeholder Coordination
• Support the coordination and preparation of quarterly board materials for multiple vehicles, including maintaining board calendars and liaising with Executive Assistants.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
6+ years of finance reinsurance experience related to US GAAP.
4+ years of experience with reinsurance, life insurance, financial and regulatory reporting.
• Experience with life insurance and life reinsurance products required.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP, STAT, and regulatory reporting in a reinsurance or insurance context required.
• Strong Excel skills (VBA a plus) and comfort working with financial data and reconciliations.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing timelines in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. 6+ years of finance reinsurance experience related to US GAAP. 4+ years of experience with reinsurance, life insurance, financial and regulatory reporting. Experience with life insurance and life reinsurance products required. Working knowledge of US GAAP, STAT, and regulatory reporting in a reinsurance or insurance context required.
