The successful applicant will be required to haul, launch, power wash and block multiple boats daily without assistance and schedule boat movements in/around/out of the boatyard. Must be able to operate a wide variety of equipment including forklifts, towing equipment, trailers, boats, etc. Must be prepared to carry out routine maintenance of equipment and vehicles.
Requirements
The successful applicant must have a minimum of 5 years of continuous work experience in boat yard hauling, launching, blocking, and trailering boats for a demanding boat yard. Knowledge of boat load distribution and geometry is essential. Must be capable of heavy physical labor with the ability to stand for long periods of time and lift a minimum of 55 lbs. Must be available to work weekends and evenings when required, and sometimes at short notice and in various weather conditions. Must possess a valid driver’s license and have own transportation. Clean criminal background and excellent employment references. Experience with boat handling is preferred.
