We Value: A diverse and inclusive learning community Trust, independence and authentic responsibility Growth and personal achievement Respect for self and others Intellectual curiosity The strength and courage to stand for what is right Key responsibilities: * Collaboratively plan and deliver engaging lessons that underpin the Vision, Mission, and Values of the school * Inspire students to uphold high academic & social standards * Establish clear and consistent classroom routines to ensure a focused, safe & caring environment * Embrace the school's commitment to diversity, participating in all diversity-based initiatives Applicants must have the following qualifications, skills & experience: * Eligible for or currently have a teaching license from the Bermuda Educators Council (BEC) * Proven ability to nurture positive relationships between teachers, students, and parents * Proficiency in curriculum programmes, particularly in numeracy and literacy * Strong classroom management skills and an ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and others * Recognised Montessori teaching credentials from AMS/AMI/NAMTA or other MACTE or other accredited organisations; or * International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme training at a minimum Category 2 level * Minimum of 3 years teaching in Primary/Elementary classrooms with experience in both PYP and Montessori environments. Preferred knowledge, skills & attributes: Experience in Montessori or similar educational frameworks Interest to be trained in an Inquiry-Based Learning Programme
