Somersfield Academy is seeking an IB Continuum Coordinator commencing for the 2026-27academic school year in our Secondary division. Reporting to the Head of Secondary, the IB Continuum Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing the relationship between Somersfield and the IBO, ensuring that we meet all of the IB expectations while at the same time serving the needs of our learning community and supporting the school's mission, vision and values. The IB Continuum Coordinator will provide positive, proactive leadership as the IB MYP and DP Coordinator for staff, students, and other stakeholders. The IB Continuum Coordinator is also expected to collaborate with the Primary Division team to ensure alignment of the written, taught, and assessed curricula across all the programmes. This role will be 80%-90% administrative and the balance will be some teaching time. Required qualifications, skills & experience: Bachelor's degree in Education and a teaching qualification Has fulfilled either an IB Diploma and/or MYP Coordinator role in the past Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school stakeholders Able to prioritise, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure Three years of teaching experience in an IB MYP and/or DP programme Direct teaching experience in both the MYP and DP programme is an asset
