Somersfield Academy, an International Baccalaureate World School offering both the Middle Years (MYP) and Diploma Programmes (DP) following a Primary foundation of a fully recognised Montessori programme, is seeking passionate, dedicated, and flexible team members for our Primary after-school programme. We Value: A diverse and inclusive learning community Trust, independence and authentic responsibility Growth and personal achievement Respect for self and others Intellectual curiosity The strength and courage to stand for what is right Key Responsibilities: Student Supervision and Safety Activity Planning and Implementation Academic Support Behaviour Management Communication and Collaboration Environment Maintenance Required qualification, skills & experience: High school diploma or equivalent Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Flexibility and adaptability; must be physically fit Strong organisational skills, time, and classroom management SCARS & First Aid/CPR certification Para-Educator Teaching license from the Bermuda Educators Council (BEC) is desired Somersfield Academy is committed to safeguarding the children of Bermuda and supports the International Task Force on Child Protection.
