The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in overseeing the daily culinary operations of the hotel, including all kitchen and food production areas. This role ensures the highest standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and consistency across all outlets are maintained. Key Duties and Responsibilities include fostering a positive and productive work environment, meeting budgets for food & beverage, labor, and direct operating expenses, hiring and coaching staff, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety guidelines, addressing customer queries, and collaborating on innovative experiences for the outlets.

Requirements

At least five (5) + years’ experience in an international Food Beverage environment at a luxury resort with at least two (2) years in a senior leadership role. Previous experience working in a hotel property is required, ideally on an Island Destination. Bachelor Degree in Hospitality, Tourism or related field is an asset. Attention to detail, time management, and interpersonal communication skills are essential. Must be a passionate hospitality professional with a keen sense of service. Physically fit and in good health; capable of heavy lifting and standing for extended hours. Proven background in various service styles with an attention to the beverage programme. Experience in remote or island destinations will be key. Ability to understand and impact change with sound accounting practices.
