Orange Bay Company is seeking interested persons to fill in for Sales and Inventory staff when on vacation, and/or to be on-call when full-time employees are unavailable due to sick, business travel etc. The sales associate will provide outstanding customer service, ensure the store is tidy, maintain the neatness and orderliness of clothing racks, accessories and floor displays. This person will be actively involved in processing on the cash register and point of sale transactions, regularly checking balances and efficiently closing out at the end of the day. When assigned to inventory, the associate, amongst other responsibilities, will be responsible for managing inventory, including receiving merchandise, entering items into the system, printing price tags, attaching tags to items for sale, hanging items and replenishing the sales floor with new merchandise.

Requirements

Two years retail experience. Knowledge of retail merchandising is an asset, but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service and a willingness to assist at all times. A positive attitude and a team player. The ability to perform the physical duties of the role, standing for long periods and lifting merchandise regularly. Availability to work weekends and or evenings for special functions.
