On-call Daycare Substitute Teacher

LOOKING FOR IMMEDIATE START DATE! The substitute teacher will provide essential classroom coverage in the absence of our teachers at New Genesis Academy. This on-call position requires flexibility and readiness to engage with students across various age groups from 1-4, ensuring a seamless continuation of the Montessori educational experience. This will involve implementing effective classroom management strategies, adapting teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles, and using data to track and enhance student progress. The role involves maintaining a nurturing and supportive classroom environment, quickly adapting to different educational needs, and collaborating with full-time staff to uphold the academy's educational standards.

Requirements

Associate's degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field. SCARS Certification (or willingness to obtain); CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, as occasional lifting of children or moving classroom play equipment may be required. Prior experience in a teaching or childcare role. Flexibility and availability for on-call assignments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to quickly adapt to different classroom environments and student needs.
