Daycare Teacher Assistant

LOOKING FOR IMMEDIATE START DATE! As a Teacher Assistant you will support the educational and developmental needs of students by assisting the classroom teacher in delivering effective instruction and managing the classroom environment. Your primary role is to provide individualized and small-group support to students, helping them to understand and engage with the curriculum, and addressing any learning or behavioral challenges they may face. A Teacher Assistant will work closely with the teacher to implement lesson plans, prepare educational materials, and create a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere. In addition to supporting instructional activities, a Teacher Assistant will contribute to the overall well-being of students, assisting with their social and emotional development, and working with parents and other staff members to address any concerns or issues. Your role is essential in ensuring that all students have the support they need to succeed academically and personally, contributing to the effective operation of the classroom and the overall success of the school.

Requirements

* Associate's degree or equivalent experience * SCARS Certification (or willingness to obtain) * CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). * Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, as occasional lifting of children or moving classroom play equipment may be required. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Experience working with children of varying abilities and learning styles.
