Our client, JMS General Contractor is seeking a Working Foreperson who is highly proficient in all areas of masonry for both commercial and residential projects, with the ability to read instructions, work from plans and specifications. Must be experienced and knowledgeable in the use of all masonry tools, techniques and materials used in the trade, and be able to produce high quality finishes, including setting out, laying block, plastering, stonework, brick laying, concrete placement, slating and formwork. The role will manage client expectations and service standards, including meeting strict deadlines and to manage, co-ordinate and monitor the staff to ensure a strong work ethic and professional demeanour in dealing with co-workers and clients. JMS is a drug free work place; employee may be subject to drug testing.
Requirements
Must be experienced and knowledgeable in the use of all masonry tools, techniques and materials; at least 5 years’ experience in all aspects of masonry; able to perform a full range of masonry functions by hand or with electrical machines; reliable and fit to carry out all duties; able to work extended hours including weekends and holidays; security check required.
