Our client, Frazee D&J Limited, are seeking Substrate Prep Installers with at least 2 years of experience in preparing subfloors for flooring installation in high-end or luxury construction projects. Responsibilities include assessing and leveling surfaces, applying primers and sealants, repairing cracks, and ensuring a flawless substrate for flooring installation. Candidates must have expertise in tools, materials, and techniques, including self-leveling compounds, moisture mitigation systems, and underlayment installation. A strong understanding of safety protocols, equipment management, and blueprint reading is required, along with attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to meet project deadlines. Additional knowledge of moisture and pH testing, material estimation, and complex subfloor challenges is a plus. Leadership, teamwork, and flexibility to work weekends if needed are also preferred.
