Convict Bay Maintenance/caretaker

The Convict Bay Maintenance/Caretaker plays a key support role in maintaining the overall cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the condominium property. Working under the supervision of the Property Manager, this individual will mostly work independently to help ensure the common areas, amenities, and building systems are well maintained and operational for owners/tenants. This position requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, a commitment to high standards of property care and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Key duties include building and facility maintenance, grounds keeping and cleanliness, resident support, and ensuring security, safety, and compliance.

Requirements

The position requires excellent organization and customer service skills and the ability to successfully handle multiple priorities. The Maintenance/Caretaker must be able to successfully and effectively communicate, have good diagnostic skills, and have previous experience in building maintenance, janitorial work, or property care (residential preferred). Special consideration will be given to those that can perform maintenance repair work on appliances, HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing systems, carpentry, painting, and landscaping. Good communication and interpersonal skills are important, as is reliability and punctuality.
