Carpet Installer - Rolled Goods

Our client, Frazee D&J Limited, are seeking Carpet Installers - Rolled Goods with at least 2 years of experience in installing rolled goods carpets, particularly in high-end or luxury construction projects. The ideal candidate must be proficient in measuring and preparing installation surfaces, cutting and fitting carpets to exact dimensions, and securing them using adhesives or tack strips. A strong understanding of installation techniques, including stretching, seaming, and padding placement, is essential. Candidates should have in-depth knowledge of carpet materials, tools, and safety protocols, along with the ability to manage equipment efficiently. The role requires excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints or layout plans. Strong communication skills and a commitment to meeting project deadlines are also necessary. Additional expertise in carpet design trends, material estimation, and subfloor preparation will be considered an asset. The ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required, is preferred.
