The Kitchen Steward is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas. This role supports the culinary team by maintaining a hygienic environment and assisting with various kitchen tasks. Key Duties and Responsibilities include adhering to sanitation guidelines, assisting the Chef and Waiters, ensuring all equipment is cleaned and in good working order, managing chemical levels and inventory, washing and storing dishes and utensils, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, and assisting in the preparation of employee meals and outside catering.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen. Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and teamwork skills. Knowledge of health and safety regulations is a plus. Ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods.
