Head Gift Designer

Miles Market Ltd. is seeking the services of a Head Gift Designer to design gifts and floral arrangements tha provide exceptional gifting experiences for our customers. About You You are creative, detail-oriented, and highly organized, with a strong sense of design and an ability to meet business targets. You enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues and delighting customers with unique and memorable gift solutions. What You Will Do • Design eye-catching gift ideas and floral arrangements. • Analyze costs and price point gifts to meet target margins. • Source and select containers and reusable components for use in gifts. • Implement and update standard operating procedures for the Gift Department. • Research and develop knowledge of current design trends. • Assist and direct support staff with gift preparation. • Answer customer questions about products or services and provide recommendations based o customer needs. • Work with the Marketing Department to promote gifts and promotional items for holidays and special occasions. • Assist in the preparation and execution of the annual budget, capital plan and strategic projects. • Organize gift department to ensure superior service standards are always maintained while meeting budgeted expenses/cost.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent is required • Must hold at least a Level 3 Certificate in Floristry. • Minimum of Five (5) years hands-on experience with buying and planning in a full-service gift or floral studio • Friendly and positive attitude with exceptional customer service skills • Excellent time management skills and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment • Strong background in retail management. • Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and lead a customer-focused team. • Excellent verbal and written communication.
