Nursery School Teachers

We are looking for qualified teachers to work with students, aged 3 months to 5 years of age. You will be responsible for the care and safety of the students in your class. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following; physical care giving, inputting information to parents on an app daily, developing a weekly newsletter that follows our Early Learning Goals, developing and carrying out planned lessons and developing and maintaining supportive relationships with parents, co-workers and children. Key Duties and Responsibilities include basic care such as feeding and diapering/toilet training, supervision of the children at all times, cleaning and care of the class environment, using a variety of instructional methods to motivate and stimulate children's learning, maintaining an open line of communication with parents and providing feedback to them, and cooperating with fellow staff and management.

Requirements

Teachers must have at minimum the Bermuda College Certification in Childcare Assistant or its equivalent. Proven experience working in a Nursery school setting. Knowledge of child development. Letter of qualification from Child Development. Must have a valid CPR and First Aid certification (or be willing to get it), as well as a clean, updated police background security check. Must pass the Ministry of Health's vetting process.
