Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required with certification, if applicable, in jurisdiction of training; 1 – 2 years post-graduate experience in a related Occupational Therapy environment, preferably within a hospital; Local registration to practice with the Council for Allied Health Professions (CAHP) and meet all re-registration requirements; Experience working within a psychiatric setting and Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; liaison with other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure quality service and continuity of care; Flexibility and creativity to accommodate the needs of the patients, care givers and Rehabilitation Team; Improvement of Occupational Therapy services within the service; Diplomacy, ability to delegate and supervise assistants, aides, and students.Salary
