Director Of Educational Standards And Accountability

Works under the direction of the Commissioner of Education and in accordance with relevant legislation and established ministerial policies and procedures, to be responsible for developing and implementing educational standards and accountability in the schools that will hold principals accountable for the delivery of the established curricula to students and for the results of student learning. Responsible for monitoring and evaluating principals within the six clusters and providing professional support to the Commissioner of Education. Undertakes financial and human resource administrative as well as liaison, public relations and advisory duties within the Department.

Requirements

Minimum of ten (10) years' relevant experience including five (5) years' experience at a senior executive management level or equivalent is required. Must possess a Master's Degree or equivalent in Educational Administration or professional qualification and registration with a professional body.
