Deputy Head Of School

The Deputy Head of School supports the Head of School in achieving high educational standards, leading the academic programme from EYP through SYP, and ensuring curriculum and assessment alignment with the school’s mission. The key function will be to assist the Head of School to ensure that students feel valued and involved in the development of their school, and that staff maintain high expectations of them. The DHS will oversee the leadership and management of the academic programme, liaise with various heads regarding curriculum and assessments, and carry out the responsibilities of the Head of School during absences.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree, appropriate teacher certification; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum 10 years experience in independent school education with direct teaching and leadership in the EYP, IPC, IGCSE, A Levels and IB Diploma Programme. Strong supervision and leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in timetabling and student information system software.
