Academic Resource Teacher

This position requires working with students in both one on one, small group and co-teaching situations mainly across the Middle School Department; developing effective ways to intervene and overcome barriers to learning, and working with subject teachers to facilitate student success. The use of google education suite and the development of strong interpersonal skills are essential. Other responsibilities would include, but are not limited to the following: collaboration and liaison with ARD members, flexibility with time management, the development of Student Support Plans/IEPs; adapting materials/lessons to meet specific needs; collaborating with external service providers, teachers and parents; maintaining data and confidential documentation.
