Key Responsibilities: Qualify prospects, make effective sales presentations and answer questions and objections in a proficient and responsible manner Actively manage quotes to close sales Plan and efficiently schedule appointments and manage time to assure maximum productivity Appraise and survey mechanical systems to determine repairs, modifications and/or maintenance requirements Interpret drawings, equipment and job conditions to properly apply company and Linc Service pricing system Train, direct and evaluate staff in the development and application of sales skills to achieve unit booking goals, to properly survey and price project work and service agreements, and efficiently resolve customer issues Increase existing customer maintenance coverage and/or other services Identify prospects and promptly follow up leads and referrals to maintain an active backlog of quotes to assure booking goal is consistently met Promptly address customer concerns to assure resolution and maintain long-term positive relationships Must have a competent understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to identify problems and cost-effective solutions Build and maintain rapport and positive working relationships with field, office and management to resolve problems, exploit opportunities and maximise profits Be able to complete sales reports, proposals, booking packages and required company documents in a clear, concise and timely manner Provide support for any special projects assigned by your manager Key Qualifications/Abilities: Minimum of 5 years' experience in a technical sales role with knowledge of chilled water systems and a wide range of HVAC and mechanical systems Experience with VRF systems and refrigeration considered a plus Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematic diagrams Ability to read, analyse and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or Bermuda Governmental regulations Must be able to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals Ability to effectively present information and respond to groups of managers, clients, customers and the public Possess or able to obtain a valid Bermuda Driver's License Ability to work as a team, while also being able to work independently Highly motivated with strong interpersonal and communication skills Flexible to the demands of the business, working during evenings and weekends as required
