Installation Technicians

Key Responsibilities: Complete installation of mini-split units and demonstrate use to customers Installation of a wide range of systems including, but not limited to, package units, VRF systems, chillers, AHU, ERV, ductwork, fans, etc. Lay out and install pipe runs, drain lines, etc. in accordance with plans Carry out basic maintenance tasks Maintain customer relations and deliver world class customer service Inform customer when arriving at or leaving the job and when planning to return Respond to customer complaints with the proper amount of sympathy and empathy, even if the problem is caused by the customer's use of the system rather than a system fault Keep technical knowledge up-to-date regarding equipment and concepts Use technical knowledge to assist other representatives in solving problems Search out and read applicable manuals and online sources When presented with a problem, know what to do and why Responsible for accurately completing and turning in all service reports, inspection sheets, and time sheets in a timely manner Maintain regular correspondence with the Operations Coordinator Maintain customer satisfaction by investing concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and Supervisor and/or Manager as needed Maintain any assigned Company vehicle cleanliness, tools and safety equipment (Use of Company equipment and vans for non-AIRCARE work is not permitted) Key Qualifications/Abilities: Certified in HVAC Completed a minimum of 7 years related industry experience with a Journeyman qualification or equivalent Maintain valid Bermuda Driver's License for IN vehicle Refrigerant Handling License and any other Bermuda Government License requirements Ability to work both as a team and independently as required Highly motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills Demonstrate a spirit of cooperation and positive attitude Strong customer service and organisation skills Dress appropriately and within the Company guidelines to represent a professional service Applicant must be flexible to the demands of the business, working during evenings and weekends as required
