Seeking qualified Chefs/Cooks to join their busy kitchen. Successful applicants must have a minimum of five years' experience with a strong culinary background and thorough understanding of safety procedures, including proper ingredient temperatures to prevent food borne illnesses. Key responsibilities include: Preparing delicious, safe, fresh food; Managing multiple dishes simultaneously; Baking, grilling, steaming, and boiling various foods; Maintaining composure in fast-paced environments; Using knife techniques as needed; Presenting and garnishing final dishes; Ensuring dishes meet management and customer expectations; Accurately follow recipes and food preparation to restaurant standards; Standing for long periods in extreme heat; Setting up workstations as needed; Helping stock inventory and organizing refrigerators; Collaborating on complex dishes; Communicating to ensure prompt delivery of dishes; Keeping a clean and safe work area; Manage opening and closing procedures.
