Retail Development Supervisor/Manager

Retail Development Supervisor/Manager: The ideal candidate will assume responsibility for all aspects of the day to day operations of Nest which include but are not limited to: opening/closing of credit card machine and POS system daily, maintaining a clean, organized sales floor in keeping with Nest's aesthetic, managing performance of staff who will report to this candidate directly, maintaining superb customer service and being able to handle high- stress customer facing situations, analyzing customer shopping trends to determine demand and thus accurately maintain inventory levels, frequent inventory management to ensure accuracy in POS system, custom special orders, managing inventory shipping timelines pertaining to these special orders, overseeing all gift registries to ensure adequate supply for both regular sales and registries. Must have obtained a bachelor's degree in business marketing or organizational management and have completed at least 5 years of employment in a customer service-oriented environment with at least 2 years in a supervisory position. An understanding of growth and sleep of children 3years and under a definite asset. Must be upbeat, have a positive attitude, enjoy talking to people and be a team player that is always willing to help. Nest is a busy environment; this candidate must be ready to be on their feet all day and move quickly. Nest is a drug and alcohol-free environment and has zero tolerance for any related offences. Boatyard Maintenance and Service Technician Having at least 5 years work experience as a boatyard maintenance skilled in all aspects of boat painting, repair, and maintenance. Duties will include but are not limited to checking, cleaning and lubricating boat equipment such as pumping equipment and compressors, assisting in boat spray painting, polishing, detailing client's boats, boat surface preparation, cleaning and waxing above/ below sea level, boat handling and hauling. Must be in good physical condition and able to handle heavy physical workload and willing to work overtime during holidays and weekends as projects demand. Assistant Baker. Having at least 5 years of work experience as a baker or pastry chef, the assistant baker will assist in the preparation and production of baked products. Duties will include but are not limited to prep/baking breads, viennoiseries, pastries, savory good; pack B2B orders, and assist in monitoring and ordering baking supplies. Must have a proven track record of ability to handle high volume of baking, food cost calculation skills and have the knowledge to introduce new baked goods regularly.
