As the Director of Operations/GM, you will have hands-on responsibility for all functions and operations of Foodhub locations. Principal responsibilities and activities will include: Recruit, train and develop teams Management in fast-paced environments Building sales Effective scheduling and manpower planning The highest levels of operational excellence and the guest experience Effective team building and motivation Strategic Planning & execution P&L analysis Inventory control Corporate & Store Marketing Development of Manuals Successful applicants must be business oriented, adaptive to new cultural environments, have strong people management skills, management experience in the food service industry with ice industry with a strong commitment to quality and customer service. They will be required to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to be work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and public holidays. They must be action-oriented and display a strong work ethic with a "can-do" attitude. He/She must be a self-motivated, ambitious and outgoing individual with excellent team-based leadership skills and strong conflict-resolution abilities. They must also have great customer-service skills as well as the ability to select and develop quality staff personnel. It is also important that they have exceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal and and presenta presentation skills skills and and the the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. Food productions experience alognwith 3-5 years of Sales and Supervisory experience is required. Ability to lead by example and convey a sense of urgency to staff members concerning all aspects of the business with excellent multitasking, time-management and prioritization skills are a definite asset. The successful applicant will manage casual dining restaurants with a catering business. Demonstrated successful experience managing a "start up" casual dining establishment with catering services is a must. Reporting to the Director of Operations, duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Qualifications: The selected candidate must have proven experience in managing a warehouse, preferably with both food and non-food items. Demonstrated experience as a "hands on manager is essential. The selected candidate must be highly detail oriented, have strong inventory control, and the proven ability to effectively utilize a computerized inventory system and other relevant software. We are seeking experienced persons with proven, successful track records of supporting multiple quick service restaurants. He/She will have financial and operational responsibility, and should have specific management experience that includes multi-unit operations, marketing, and team-building. Reporting to the Director of Operations, duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited toc The chosen candidate must have excellent communication skills and at least one year's proven experience an assistant in a multi-unit operations environment. A Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Business Ad Administration or Hospitality with Sales and Marketing, or otherwise being qualified by experience is required. Organization skills with business development and P&L. management with the ability to handle multiple priorities are a must. The above job requires flexible hours which may include shift work, weekends and holidays. Minimum of 3 years kitchen experience, conversant with international cuisine and the ability to work in all areas of a full kitchen. Must be able to organize the kitchen brigade/food, control costs, set menus and any other duties as assignment by the Management. May be required to deliver catering orders or pick up storeroom items. Hours of work will require split shifts, weekends and public holidays. Minimum 3 years relevant experience, well conversant with Pastry/Bakery cuisine and the ability to work in all areas of a full kitchen. Must be able to organize the kitchen brigade/food, control costs, set menus and any other duties as assignment by the Management. May be required to deliver catering orders or pick up storeroom items. Hours of work will require split shifts, weekends and public holidays. Ability to Train and supervise others is a definite asset. In addition to being knowledgeable about the science behind the baking and pastry-making process, dessert chefs must also possess artistic skill in decorating cakes and other creations. Pastry chefs may be required to meet with customers to discuss the details o custom-made desserts for special occasions. Having 2 years of restaurant experience, the successful applicants will be required to I to work unsupervised on occasions and will be responsible for organizing & handling restaurant equipment and linens, He/She needs. to be capable of high standards of food & beverage service. Duties may include delivering individual and corporate orders to guest's door by vehicles. A warm and friendly character with ability to work with others in busy operations is a must. A positive attitude and desire to learn is required. The ideal waiter/waitress enjoys interacting with people while remaining professional at all times, is pro-active, team orientated and highly guests service focused. Knowledge of food and wine restaurant operations are required. Working irregular split shift, public holidays and weekends are necessary. Successful applicants must be able to work any of the company locations as required. Minimum of 4 years kitchen experience, conversant with international cuisine and the ability to work in to work in all areas of a full kitchen. Must be able to organize the kitchen brigade/food, control costs, set menus and any other duties as assignment by the Management. May be required to deliver catering orders or pick up storeroom items. Hours of work will require split shifts, weekends and public holidays.. This position creates exceptional experience for our customers by introducing to them new quality beverage and food products. Reporting to the Café Manager, the selected candidate must have excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, strong work ethic, and have the ability to work independently or as part of a team. At least two years' experience in a similar role operating specialty coffee equipment is essential. Strong POS and inventory control skills are necessary. Having a friendly, enthusiastic, engaging personality is essential...
