As an Inflight Catering Assistant, you will be responsible for the provision of inflight catering services, including the assembly of inflight snacks and drinks to approved quality and hygiene standards, and the loading and unloading of food and beverage carts onto our aircraft. The role is based at the airline’s catering facility at the airport, and shift working is required to meet the needs of our operating schedule.

Requirements

Food handling hygiene training and qualifications in a catering environment would be considered an advantage. Ability to serve and support both internal and external customers. Good independent judgment with the ability to set priorities and make appropriate decisions, showing initiative and ability to solve problems with minimum supervision. Strong organizational ability and the willingness to be flexible to provide support and deal with a broad variety of issues. Positive “can-do” attitude and ability to remain calm under pressure; effective communication skills. A Class 3 Driving License and an Airfield Driving Permit (ADP) to operate vehicles is desirable. Punctuality is essential.
