With responsibilities based in Bermuda and reporting to the Experience Development Manager, the Experience Development Specialist will be responsible for implementing experiences, programmes, and initiatives to support the strategic priorities of the organization. This role requires a high-performing, detailed-oriented individual who can develop, organize, and oversee multiple projects and programmes from start to finish with minimal to no supervision to elevate the on-island visitor experience and offerings. Duties and responsibilities are varied and not limited to: Organize and develop experiences, activities, and activations that ensure a positive visitor experience for on-island guests. Provide hands-on support for on-island activations, signature experiences, and projects led or supported by the Experience team. Responsibilities may include manual setup, signage placement, monitoring event execution, and assisting with day-of logistics. Assist in developing project plans and post-event evaluations for all experience-related initiatives. This includes capturing visitor numbers, survey results, qualitative feedback, and performance metrics to assess effectiveness and guide future improvements and sustainability of curated experiences. Ensure that all stakeholders and vendors engaged through BTA collaborations are actively utilizing the BTA Connect platform. This includes confirming that they have an up-to-date profile and are maintaining accurate and relevant listings. For stakeholders who are not yet on the platform, the Experience Specialist is expected to proactively engage them, encourage registration, and provide guidance on how to create and manage their BTA Connect profile effectively. Implement monthly/quarterly workshops and/or lunch-and-learns with key industry stakeholders and partners to communicate visitor engagement activities and promote key BTA strategic objectives. Conduct outreach to on-island stakeholders and partners to obtain visitor activity information and explore experience-related collaboration opportunities with the BTA. Conduct weekly outreach to promote experience projects and on-island happenings with key stakeholders and concierge teams. Produce programme/project assessments for all visitor experiences outlining key learnings, wins, and performance KPI's. Lead on-island site visits and tours for groups secured by the Sales and Business Development teams. Organize and customize on-island itineraries for required FAM's, groups and visitors secured by the division. Ensure all curated experiences are placed into BTA's CRM system and information is accurately reflected and maintained. Prepare monthly visitor engagement activity reports with key metrics, data and information as requested. Support the Experience Development Manager(s) and the division as requested. Create and maintain budget documents for all experience development activities and projects. Ensure all related expenses and revenues are up-to-date and accurately reflected during the duration of visitor engagement projects. Maintain positive external partner relationships with key tourism and industry stakeholders to facilitate collaborative opportunities for the benefit of enhancing visitors' on-island experience. Provide assistance when required to facilitate the processing of immigration and customs requests related to Experience Development projects. Perform other related duties, special projects and assignments as required. The successful candidate must possess: A minimum of an Associate's degree is required with a Bachelor's Degree in a tourism-related field preferred. Previous event or project management experience is preferred. At least three years' of relevant or similar experience. Experience with preparing reports, budget creation and management, vendor management relations, and proven customer engagement experience will be required. Ability to work nights, weekends, and major holidays; reliable, dependable, flexible, and responsive. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people. Strong understanding of the tourism industry, travel, and market trends. Drive and ambition willingness to take personal responsibility for delivering objectives. Comfortable in a fast-paced team environment and a team player.
