The Garden Market is currently looking for a Skilled Butcher to join our team. Key duties: Daily production of meat products including the cutting of fresh, frozen, deli/cooked meats; Displaying meat products for optimal selling appeal; Maintaining the friendly store/department atmosphere while providing excellent customer service; Actively engage in ideas of product expansion to increase profitability of the department; Inventory control and ordering of meat department products and supplies; Uphold the standards of cleaning and sanitizing of the department; Consistently follow equipment and food handling safety procedures.
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of meat cutting/butcher experience; experience in band-saw skilled cutting; proven ability to maintain physical dexterity enabling you to complete repetitive motions, heavy lifting (60 lbs) safely and efficiently.
