This position requires the teaching of Science and Foundations of Learning in Middle School. Experience teaching GCSE in a Science subject would be advantageous. Experience working with students with access arrangements and alternative curriculums would also be an asset.

Requirements

The successful candidate should hold strong academic qualifications: a Bachelor’s degree in the teaching subject, formal teacher training certification (e.g. BEd, MEd, PGCE/QTS) as well as proven success and a minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching the subject. All prospective teachers should be able to integrate technology in the classroom and must either have, or meet the qualifications to obtain, a current Bermuda Teacher’s License.
