The Head of Exposure Management Development will lead the monitoring and reporting of aggregation across the Company's underwriting portfolio. Duties & Responsibilities: • Coordinate with underwriting, actuarial and risk management to produce timely and nsightful exposure monitoring metrics. Prototype exposure management tools and reports across Reinsurance, Specialty and Bespoke lines. • Lead regular review of exposures against risk appetites and seek to optimize the Company's risk profile while minimizing accumulations. Liaise with developers to build efficient automated exposure management systems and dashboards. Monitor latest academic research and market consensus to ensure Fidelis responds to emerging risks, such as climate change, incorporating findings into actions. • Build exposure-based pricing methods to provide alternative and intuitive views of risk • Complete exposure related elements of regulatory returns for PRA, CBI, BMA, AM Best and S&P. Produce aggregation reporting for outwards partners. • Assist with property reinsurance case pricing during busy periods. Minimum Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Over 10 years' experience in catastrophe modelling with deep understanding of AIR's suite of models and software including Touchstone and Touchstone Re. University degree, preferably in Mathematics, Science or Economics. • Pricing experience across multiple lines of business including Property Treaty, Specialty and Terrorism using both modelled and non modelled methods, e.g. experience rating. • Exceptional Microsoft Office skills, in particular Microsoft Excel. Track record of developing tools using common languages such as MATLAB, Julia, Python, VBA and Microsoft SQL server. • Confident user of DFA models like Remetrica, Metarisk and Igloo. High attention to detail and ability to multi-task and prioritise own work against needs of business. • Strong critical thinker who can interrogate the data to ensure it makes sense and provide challenge when required. Able to self-lead and work effectively both independently and with teams. • Demonstrated ability to deliver accurate and commercially aware analysis within tight deadlines and/or while working extended hours.
