Our client, Xitus Insurance Holdings Limited is looking for a Head of Finance to join their Bermuda based team. Reporting to the Group CFO, the Head of Finance will assist and support with a range of accounting and other business responsibilities for the group entities. This role is for a self-motivated, proactive accountant who can work flexibly within a small, multi-jurisdictional team. The successful applicant must be able to work both in the office and remotely, and be prepared to travel as needed.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant with 2 or more years PQE either within audit or financial services, preference will be given to those with insurance industry experience. • Experience with Xero or other online accounting packages is favorable but not essential. • Experience with group accounting and consolidations. • Preference will be given to candidates who have knowledge of Solvency II, BSCR regulations. • Willing to travel, up to a couple of times per year. • Able and willing to work in a small team, and able to work alone as necessary. • Developed Excel worksheet skills. • Advanced word skills. • PowerPoint presentation skills.
