Looking for a reliable, experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to assist in the daily operations of our high-traffic liquor store. Responsibilities will include: Assist with all daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures. Help manage inventory, order stock, receive deliveries accurately, organize displays, and monitor shrinkage. Merchandise stock onto shelves and into fridges. Ensure compliance with Liquor Licence regarding alcohol sales. Provide top-tier customer service and handle escalated customer issues. Maintain store cleanliness and organization. Collaborate with vendors and place weekly orders. Assist with stocktaking. Stay current on industry trends and new products. Be able to act as manager in the absence of the Store Manager. Minimum Qualifications and experience: Minimum of 5 years retail assistant management experience. Minimum education would be high school diploma or equivalent. TIPS certification or willing to obtain the same. Familiarity with Lightspeed POS system and inventory software. Must be computer literate. Must be able to work long hours including weekends and holidays. Strong knowledge of beer, wine and spirits is essential. Experience in operating a forklift would be an asset.

Requirements
